Düsseldorf, November 24, 2021 – TK Elevator, one of the major players in the elevator market in terms of production, service and innovation, tops the global ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) ranking by Sustainalytics in the industrial mechanics category.
In this category, the rating agency analyzed the data of more than 500 companies around the world and awarded TK Elevator the rating: « Minor risk ».
Sustainalytics, world leader in research and rating in ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), assesses companies according to the responses they provide to issues related to Sustainable Development and likely to have a significant impact on the business. business economics but also their environment in the broad sense. Criteria such as respect for human rights and supply chain management are taken into account, as well as risks related to the weakening of natural resources and climate change.
Results are measured on a scale of 0 to 100, with a score between 10 and 20 being categorized as ‘Minor Risk’. With a total score of 13.8, TK Elevator already achieves an exemplary result, but in many essential sub-categories such as « Business Management », « Human Rights – Supply Chain » and « Carbon – Products and services », TK Elevator even obtained a score of less than 10 corresponding to the best possible classification: « Negligible risk ».
